HEALTH SERVICES RESEARCH

The Health Services Research (HSR) section focuses on advancing surgical care through a comprehensive approach that leverages systems- and population-level science. By utilizing methodologies such as big-data analytics, policy evaluation, cost-effectiveness modeling, and implementation science, HSR aims to identify and implement strategies that improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.

This section fosters a collaborative community, bringing together investigators to share expertise and resources. HSR connects researchers to essential infrastructure, including trial coordination, grants support, and access to biorepository resources. Through these efforts, the section ensures that research findings are translated into tangible improvements in real-world surgical care.
