This Grand Rounds session will feature Zara Cooper, MD, MSC, FACS from Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In addition to serving as a trauma surgeon, Cooper is also the Kessler Director at the Center for Surgery and Public Health, Co-Director and Founder of the Center for Geriatric Surgery, and a Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. She will discuss her work creating a geriatric surgery center, as well as the need for these types of centers.
