I was looking for a program that would train me to provide excellent surgical care and prepare me as an aspiring academic surgeon. The operative volume and academic opportunities at the University of Utah are extraordinary and the access to outdoor activities is unparalleled. Most important, I didn’t want to pass up on the opportunity to work with the amazing team of residents and attendings at Utah.
