    Phoebe Lee is from Waterford, Connecticut. She attended the University of Pittsburgh as part of the GA Program, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and her medical degree.

    Medical Areas of Interest

    Lee enjoys all aspects of plastic surgery, but has specific interests in hand surgery, aesthetic surgery, gender affirmation surgery, reconstructive surgery, and wound healing research. She also has a penchant for advocating for women and minority representation in surgery. 

    Interests & Hobbies

    In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys mixology, cooking Chinese cuisine, watercolor painting, hiking around the world, and keeping company for her Shiba Inu Duke. 

    Why Utah?

    Lee was drawn to the program’s strong sense of comradery among residents and between residents and attendings. She values the diverse training with high volume that residents receive here, particularly with gender affirmation surgery, trauma cases, and microsurgery. In addition to the wonderful training and culture, she fell in love with Salt Lake City, where the mountains are quite literally in the hospital’s backyard and the outdoor adventures are endless.
