ABOUT VASCULAR SURGERY
The Division of Vascular Surgery at University of Utah Health is a multidisciplinary surgical team dedicated to achieving excellence in patient care, education and clinical research. Our highly trained physicians provide comprehensive and innovative care for patients with all types of vascular conditions. As the leading center for quaternary vascular surgery care in Utah and the Mountain West, our team is committed to providing the most advanced cutting-edge technology and procedures available to treat the entire range of peripheral arterial disease, complex aortic pathology, and venous disease.
Our mission to provide state of the art care for patients with vascular disease also extends to our academic programs. Ongoing research efforts in the Division of Vascular Surgery have helped advance surgical knowledge and care pathways while being supported by numerous grant awards from the National Institute of Health, Veterans Health Administration, and other federal research agencies. Further, our highly competitive ACGME-accredited vascular surgery fellowship program offers trainees extensive experience in advanced open vascular surgery and endovascular skills. Our vascular surgery fellows finish with case volumes exceeding the 90th percentile and are prepared with the skills needed to deliver the highest quality of vascular surgery care.
We value teamwork and collaboration across clinical care, education and research programs in our goal to advance vascular surgery and achieve the best patient outcomes for all.
