Pediatric Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship

The University of Utah Pediatric Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship is a one year non-accredited fellowship.

The Cleft and Craniofacial Program is located in the Primary Children’s Hospital, a tertiary care facility that serves five states.  The Program has three craniofacial surgeons, a craniofacial surgery fellow and a craniofacial orthodontist. Patients are followed from birth through adulthood. A high volume of presurgical orthopedics, distraction osteogenesis, and orthognathic procedures provide training for the management of patients with complex craniofacial anomalies and special care needs requiring multidisciplinary care.

>The goal of the program is to train an orthodontist to a level of competency that enables them to recognize, diagnose and treat patients with craniofacial anomalies and special needs in a hospital-based team care setting.  Fellows will be part of the comprehensive cleft and craniofacial team.  They will participate in didactic conferences with other trainees. Fellows will also engage in research related to craniofacial anomalies.

Salary is dependent on training year level.
