Lorena De Marco Garcia, MD is a fellowship-trained, adult vascular surgeon specializing in venous pathology, limb salvage, and wound care focusing on an integrated, interdisciplinary, and minimally invasive approach.

Dr. De Marco Garcia studied medicine at the University of Buenos Aires participating in an advanced medical program dedicated to the top 2% of medical school applicants. She completed a 5-year general surgery residency and 2-year vascular surgery fellowship at Northwell Health, New York.

Dr. De Marco Garcia has been in practice since 2010 and was named regional vascular director at Northwell Health. She was also the regional medical director for vascular ultrasound within the same region before joining Utah University of Utah Health in 2024.

In working with patients, Dr. De Marco Garcia aims to provide an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to treating vascular disease. She works closely with leadership, developing systems that offer optimal, cost-effective care and allow social reinsertion as soon as possible. Educating patients to prevent vascular disease, early detection, and recurrences is key to her practice.

In her spare time, Dr. De Marco Garcia enjoys skiing, hiking, scuba diving, and traveling.
