Division Chief Announce Faculty Ascender Grant Seed Award Program.
Dr. Nirula has recently announced a faculty ascender grant program for any general surgery division faculty who submits a meritorious proposal. Three awards, which will be funded from his Endowed Chair Fund, will be given and can be used to support research, technical innovation, education program development or administrative development.
Award Details:
- Three awards are available in the amount of $25,000 each
- Funds are to be used for direct costs related to the program development and not for Division APC, resident or faculty salary support.
- Deadline is January 10th, 2023.
- Awards that demonstrate innovative approaches to solve problems will be favored but can focus on any of the academic/clinical pillars
- Project duration 1 year or less
