In a groundbreaking new partnership, the University of Utah Department of Ob-Gyn has joined the Center for Global Surgery. The two departments will jointly operate the program focused on expanding surgical systems access to the 5 billion people who currently lack it. This structural change brings new, unique opportunities for global and local collaboration across both departments of Surgery and Ob-Gyn.
