University of Utah Health Division of Vascular Surgery earns three stars in Vascular Quality Initiative Registry Participation Award Program

Dr. Kevin Bagley presented research exploring physician preferences in the adoption of innovative, cost-effective laparoscopic instruments, in his oral presentation to the 48th World Congress of Surgery held in Krakow, Poland “SURGEONS EXPERIENCE WITH XENOSCOPE, A NOVEL LAPAROSCOPE TECHNOLOGY”.

Findings from this research include focal length preferences and fallback rates back to traditional laparoscopic instruments which can serve to guide the future improvements laparoscopic innovations, and could reinforce their equivalent status in the mainstream marketplace.

Dr. Bagley held the 2018-2019 Research Fellowship with the University of Utah, Center for Global Surgery.
