New Provider Dr. Robert Teixeira, MD

Robert Teixeira, MD is an Assistant Professor within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Utah. Dr. Teixeira grew up in the Midwest. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and he earned his Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He completed an integrated plastic surgery residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and a Hand, Nerve, and Microsurgery Fellowship with the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Washington University in St Louis. In his free time, Dr. Teixeira loves the outdoors, hiking, skiing, music, cooking, and trying new foods. He is looking forward to exploring what life elevated has to offer!

Dr. Teixeira's clinical interests include:

  • Comprehensive hand care including trauma and elective
  • Peripheral nerve surgery
