Dr. Brock O’Neil, MD is a contributing author to an important new publication in the Journal of Clinical Oncology entitled ‘Evaluation of Oncology Hospital at Home: Unplanned Health Care Utilization and Costs in the Huntsman at Home Real-World Trial’. The study examines the patient and financial impact of a home health program for cancer care. This program has been very successful through the Huntsman Cancer Institute and decreased re-hospitalization by > 50%. The study emphasizes the importance of aggressive home health care in decreasing morbidity for cancer patients.
