We are excited to announce the Division of General Surgery at University of Utah Health (UUH) is now partnering with Castleview Hospital (CH) located in Price, Utah. This is a great extension of the high-quality services provided by our UUH surgeons into the region.
Dr. Ram Nirula, Dr. Rodney Barker and Dr. Jennwood Chen will be providing trauma and emergency general surgery call coverage with all procedures and patient care falling within the scope of general surgery. Dr. Nirula covered the first weekend:

Thank you to the many teams at CH who quickly welcomed and oriented Dr. Nirula to their hospital system to ensure his success that first weekend. It also takes the team at UUH working together with CH to illustrate the great teamwork required to launch a new service.
