WHAT’S HAPPENING

The Dosdall lab, together with an interdisciplinary team including Doug Smego MD from CT surgery, Robin Shaw MD PhD from Cardiovascular Medicine, and Ting Ting Hong PhD from Pharmacology, is developing a large animal ischemic heart failure model for testing novel therapeutic treatment options for patients with heart failure. This model will play an important role in research efforts at the CVRTI in the future. Initial results with a novel cBIN1 gene therapy have been very promising.
